In this role you will build Manychat for Brands from the ground up, delivering a scalable backend that connects brands, campaigns, and creators. You work directly with users and partners to ship value early, shape the product architecture, and own reliability from day one. You’ll tackle observability, infra modernization, and data flows at scale while defining patterns for a growing engineering team. This is a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity to influence product direction and metrics.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Build Manychat for Brands from scratch, enabling campaigns, consent handling, and data connections
• Ship to design partners quickly, with direct user feedback loops
• Own unresolved problems: observability from zero, migrating fragile infra, reducing PHP dependencies, auth/permissions, scaling data pulls
• Define engineering patterns and coding approaches for the team to inherit
• Collaborate with PMs/leadership to shape product scope and architecture
• Operate on production infrastructure serving millions of users with real scale
• Measure success by business impact for brands/creators, not just code quality
Responsabilidades
• 8+ years of backend experience in Python
• Deep FastAPI experience or equivalent modern framework
• Strong system design and trade-off defense experience
• Experience building for real load and scalable architectures
• Comfort operating before specs exist, shaping the product
• Proven xqbhyrx track record of working with product/partners and making impact-driven decisions
• Experience building from scratch or the itch to do it
