- Enhance or automate trading operation systems and workflows to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
- Take ownership of major operational problems by identifying root causes and resolving them promptly.
- Collaborate with Operations and Development teams to diagnose and resolve complex live production issues.
- Partner with vendors and Operations to design, integrate, and operationalize backend workflows that enable onboarding of new products and business initiatives.
- Automate manual processes by developing practical, maintainable scripts and tools.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and workflows.
- Provide occasional after-hours support and participate in testing activities when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 3-8 years of experience in trading support or a similar technical role.
- Strong technical expertise in Linux environments and Python.
- Proven track record of driving operational improvements and delivering results as part of a team.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced trading environment.
- A practical mindset with a passion for building simple, scalable automation solutions.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to enhance systems while working within real-world constraints.
