Python Etl Developer (Alteryx Migration) – Remote
We are seeking a Python Developer to support the migration of existing workflow automation solutions into scalable Python-based applications. This role will focus on redesigning, developing, validating, and deploying data workflows while ensuring functionality and business outcomes are maintained throughout the conversion process. The ideal candidate will have strong Python and SQL development experience, along with expertise in data integration, workflow automation, and ETL processes. This individual will collaborate with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and technical resources to support workflow validation, user acceptance testing, production deployment, and ongoing operational support. Success in this role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex data and application issues while delivering high-quality technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
- Convert and optimize existing workflow solutions into Python-based applications
- Develop, test, and maintain Python applications, automation scripts, and data pipelines
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and data transformations
- Validate and reconcile workflow outputs to ensure accurate functionality and results
- Partner with business stakeholders to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Support code deployment, release management, monitoring, and production support activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, performance, and application issues
- Create technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities
- Provide ongoing production support and maintenance
- Present project updates and technical information to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions
- Support quality assurance reviews and post-implementation enhancements
