Full Stack Developer (GenAI Focus)
We are seeking an accomplished Full Stack Developer with expertise in Generative AI (GenAI) technologies to join our team and drive key initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Python and React within a dynamic, agile environment.
Leverage Generative AI tools and coding assistants to improve development velocity and solution quality.
Collaborate with global teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies , provide project status updates, and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.
Learn and Morgan Stanley’s proprietary frameworks and best practices.
Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code reliability, quality, and maintainability.
Proactively adapt to change and continuously learn new technical and business concepts.
Required Skills & Experience
Python Development:
5+ years of overall development experience with strong hands‑on expertise in Python
Ability to write clean, efficient, and optimized code
Generative AI & Coding Assistants:
Experience with tools such as GitHub Copilot (Agent mode, skills, etc.)
Databases:
Proficiency in RDBMS and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):
Experience with DevOps practices , including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and observability tools
Analytical Skills:
Strong problem‑solving ability with experience designing scalable solutions
Collaboration & Communication:
Strong work ethic with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Testing:
Experience writing thorough unit tests covering key logic components (preferably using coding assistants)
Preferred Skills & Experience
GenAI Application Development:
Experience working with LLMs , agentic implementations, and tools for integrating data into LLM context
Frontend Development:
Experience with Angular and/or React frameworks
Linux/Unix & Scripting:
Solid working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
Advanced Database Skills:
Experience with PL/SQL , query optimization, and performance tuning
Application Exposure:
Experience building web, batch, and streaming applications
Agile Experience:
Proven experience working in global Agile Scrum teams
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $42.35/hour - $66.18/hour.
