BS in Engineering or Computer Science 2. Comfortable across the stack: backend language (Python, Node.js, or similar), frontend framework (React, Vue, etc.), and SQL 3. Experience connecting systems via REST APIs, webhooks, or message queues 4. Systematic, structured thought process 5. Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD concepts and how AI-powered browser automation works 3. [Phone Screen] 2 hard requirements to screen for when meeting them: 1. Have they built and maintained production integrations where multiple systems depend on each other, and had to handle what happens when things break? 1. Please capture experiences with real multi-system wiring (APIs, databases, third-party services) and the complexity of their failure handling. Integration pain (retries, data consistency, timeouts, race conditions) takes precedence over standalone app experience 1. This aims to eliminate candidates who have only built isolated CRUD applications. We need someone who’s lived the messy reality of systems that depend on each other 2.
