PYTHON + GCP + INTEGRATIONS

As a backend architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable data pipelines and microservices within a cloud-native environment. Your expertise in Python and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) will be instrumental in creating robust and efficient systems. The position involves working closely with a dynamic team to build and maintain secure API integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity between internal and external platforms.

• Develop and maintain backend systems and automation scripts using Python, focusing on scalability and performance.
• Design and deploy cloud-native solutions on GCP, utilizing services like Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
• Build and manage secure API integrations, connecting internal systems with third-party platforms for seamless data exchange.
• Quickly adapt to new programming languages and tools as project needs evolve, ensuring flexibility and agility.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency by monitoring and fine-tuning cloud resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document and maintain comprehensive system architecture diagrams and documentation for future reference and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality development practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in backend development and cloud technologies.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Python.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services, including Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and BigQuery.
• Experience in designing and implementing secure API integrations, with a focus on data security and privacy.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Passion for staying updated with the latest technologies and a desire to continuously learn and grow.
