The Opportunity
Highspring is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join a machine learning delivery squad focused on building advanced Artificial Intelligence solutions, including Machine Learning and Generative AI.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of enterprise-grade AI-driven systems while collaborating closely with clients and subject matter experts to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate within a machine learning team to design and deliver AI, ML, and GenAI solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based libraries and enterprise applications.
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable Python code.
- Work closely with clients and SMEs to ensure accurate solution design and delivery.
- Participate in prompt engineering and optimize prompts for evolving LLM capabilities.
- Maintain and continuously improve prompts aligned with new model versions.
- Conduct testing, validation, and performance analysis of solutions.
- Contribute to benchmarking experiments for prompt and model evaluation.
- Support ongoing monitoring, observability, and performance tracking of deployed solutions.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level applications.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Core Skills Required
- Deep expertise in Python, including:
- Object-oriented design and programming
- Multi-processing and application architecture
- REST API development
- Testing frameworks and best practices
- Strong experience designing scalable enterprise architectures
- Knowledge of system resiliency, observability, scalability, and performance optimization
- Hands-on experience building production-grade Python applications

- Python ecosystem (core development and frameworks)
- Generative AI tools and LLM platforms (e.g., OpenAI models)
- Machine Learning frameworks and vector databases
- Cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Java (nice to have)
