Role Overview
We are looking for a Python & Generative AI Developer to join a team working on AI-driven, search, and information retrieval solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development experience combined with practical knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Machine Learning, NLP, or search technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions using Python.
- Design and implement AI, Machine Learning, NLP, and search-related applications.
- Build and integrate solutions using LLMs, Generative AI, and RAG.
- Apply search and information retrieval concepts to develop intelligent solutions.
- Work with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Follow software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and Agile methodologies.
- Analyse technical challenges and develop effective, scalable solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of AI and software development practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Python software engineering or AI engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Practical experience with AI, Machine Learning, NLP, or Search-related applications.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Knowledge of search technologies and information retrieval concepts.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with data engineering and machine learning frameworks.
- Understanding of software development best practices, version control, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Dutch language proficiency at B1 level or higher, or native Dutch.
- Willingness and availability to work onsite in the Netherlands.
