Job Summary
Our team is looking for a Backend Engineer familiar with Python and working with complex distributed systems. We want someone who enjoys helping other team members grow and has a strong focus on customer experience. On the Mobile Platform team, we build foundational architecture widely used by customers and mobile engineers at the organization.
Responsibilities
- Improve backend infrastructure supporting our mobile product
- Develop and maintain core web apps for a world class cloud platform
- Lead team initiatives for quality and resiliency in our backend services
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience with Python and Flask
- Ability to solve problems and think critically on your own
- Enthusiastic and curious in your approach to coding
- Empathy and respect for co-workers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kotlin / KTOR / JVM backend services
- Experience with Istio or similar service mesh technology
- Experience with Node
