Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Python Lead Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Python development, cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and REST APIs, along with proven technical leadership capabilities. This role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring developers, and delivering high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- 10 15+ years of overall software development experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong expertise in Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with asynchronous programming and multiprocessing.
- Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and application optimization skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Generative AI, LLM integrations, or AI-powered applications.
- Familiarity with LangChain, OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI, or AWS Bedrock.
- Experience building event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Exposure to data engineering frameworks such as Spark or Airflow.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Knowledge of security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, and API security.
- Experience working in financial services or enterprise environments is a plus.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade Python applications.
- Develop scalable REST APIs and microservices using modern Python frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards, security, and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior and senior developers.
- Design cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide long-term technical solutions.
