Your RoleYou will join a specialist group that uses advanced math, computer programs, and data to build mathematical models that make smart, fast business choices - decide where to spend money on exploration, exploitation and how to run oil and gas projects.Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications to support business processes.Create and optimize math models, workflows, including uploading inputs into existing scripts, and design simple UI components where needed.Implement Linear Programming with Python.Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets.Integrate and interact with databases for data storage and retrieval.Perform data extraction and parsing from third‐party APIs.Support GIS mapping tasks.Your ProfileBachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent and 4+ years of experienceStrong experience in Python, implementing Linear Programming, creating mathematical models, workflows and optimizing themDevelop mathematical models and workflows from concept to implementation, applying algorithmic thinking and analytical approaches to address business and technical challengesExperience in Azure CloudStrong understanding of database interaction (SQL or NoSQL), data automation and building lightweight UIsKnowledge of data quality frameworks and ETL/data processing toolsAbility to work with APIs for data extraction and integrationAdvanced English communication skillsNice To HaveExposure to GIS concepts and libraries (e.G., GeoPandas, Shapely, QGIS), experience in C/C++, Python frameworks used in Linear Programming such as Scipy, Pyomo, Numpy, etc.What You'll LoveWork on meaningful projects that use technology to solve real-world challengesExposure to top global companies working with Capgemini (145 of the Fortune 500 companies)Access continuous learning through internal academies, certifications, and mentorshipAll applications welcome and will be considered based on merit against the job and/or experience for the position.
