STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Python/PySpark Developer on behalf of our client in Des Moines, IA The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python and PySpark and will contribute to a data ingestion project involving external vendor data. This role requires a developer who can build reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions while working collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Translate application requirements, storyboards, and use cases into functional applications.

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

Build data ingestion solutions for integrating data from external vendors.

Develop scalable data processing solutions using Python and PySpark.

Ensure application performance, quality, responsiveness, and reliability.

Identify bottlenecks and bugs and develop effective solutions.

Maintain clean, organized, and reusable code.

Apply appropriate software design and architectural patterns.

Develop reusable code libraries and components.

Collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Work onsite according to the established hybrid working arrangement.

Strong hands-on experience with Python.

Strong hands-on experience with PySpark.

Experience developing scalable and maintainable applications.

Understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns.

Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to write clean, readable, and reusable code.

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Experience with Snowflake.

Experience with Databricks.

Experience with Microsoft Azure.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.

Experience with data ingestion and external data integration projects is highly desirable.
