Python & Snowflake Developer
LOCATION
Dallas or Tampa (Hybrid 3 days/week)
REQUIRED SKILLS
Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modeling.
Experience with Pandas, PySpark, or related data processing frameworks.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Financial services or risk management domain experience.
Exposure to data governance, security, and compliance requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of software development and data engineering experience.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Strong SQL and database development experience.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines.
Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Agile development methodologies.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Snowflake
Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake SQL.
Develop stored procedures, UDFs, Snowpark solutions, and data transformation frameworks.
Implement data quality validation, data lineage, and monitoring processes.
Optimize Snowflake performance, warehouse sizing, and query execution.
Python Development
Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and data processing applications using Python.
Build reusable frameworks and utilities for data ingestion and transformation.
Create automation scripts for operational processes and cloud resource management.
Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring solutions.
Cloud & DevOps
Work with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Support deployment automation and environment management.
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Prepare technical designs, solution documentation, and release artifacts.
Support production deployments, incident management, and root cause analysis.
