Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test frameworks using JavaScript and TypeScript
- Develop and execute automated tests using Playwright
- Utilize the Chai Assertion Library for writing clear, concise, and reusable tests
- Implement Cucumber JS for behavior-driven development (BDD) testing
- Manage and maintain test scripts using Git version control system
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure alignment on testing approaches
- Identify, analyze, and document defects effectively, ensuring continuous improvement of automation processes
Requirements :
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for test automation
- Experience with Playwright for web automation
- Strong knowledge of Chai Assertion Library and Cucumber JS
- Hands-on experience with Git for version control and collaboration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at a B2 level
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Bitbucket for code repository management
- Understanding of Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
- Experience with Jira for task tracking and project management
- Knowledge of the Xray plugin for Jira to integrate test management into workflows
