Job Description:
Core Quality Engineering skills must have
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or Engineering is required or in lieu a demonstrated equivalence in work experience
- 6 years of experience in complete software testing activities
- Experience in supporting test strategy activities particularly in integration of multiple applications and systems via data flow and data transformation.
Databricks Skills must have
- Handson experience with Databricks workspace clusters jobs and notebook workflows in an AWS environment
- Understanding of Spark concepts distributed processing partitioning shuffles and their impact on data validation and test automation and performance testing
- Familiarity with medallion architecture bronze silver gold and how to test across layers
- Experience with data ingestion across various sources File DB Delta share
- Experience with data code promotion across databricks environments
- Data testing skills
- Strong background in validating ETL workflows including source to target data validation transformation logic and reconciliation Usage of GenAI tools in data testing is highly preferred
- Implementing and automating data quality validations completeness accuracy consistency uniqueness timeliness within Databricks notebooks and jobs
- Non Functional testing Skills
- Hands on experience working with testing frameworks Selenium web driver Cucumber Carina andor equivalent specifically for Web applications
- Proficient with Git
- Experience in performance testing of data pipelines
Technical Skills
- Experience in SQL a must Knowledge of NoSQL MongoDB is preferred
- Handson experience with API Web Services testing and Framework is a must
- Hands on experience with Object oriented language like Java or Python
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills are essential with strong verbal and writing proficiencies
- Demonstrated skills to work in cross functional teams and proactively resolves issues and escalate appropriately
- Experience in Capital markets with exposure to Equities futures and options is a plus
- Experience with Market Data such as Equity Forex or Options asset classes preferred
- Certifications optional
- Databrick certification
- AWS certification
