As a Quant Analytics Analyst within the Auto Finance team, you will design and implement business intelligence solutions that enhance efficiency and minimize risk. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytics and actionable insights supporting our business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Conduct business process reviews and develop automated solutions to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
Maintain and enhance business process tools in line with evolving requirements.
Gather, input, and manipulate data for business and financial analysis and reporting.
Perform comparative and loan portfolio performance analysis to provide actionable insights.
Validate data accuracy and assist with report preparation and distribution.
Articulate analysis results in reports, presentations, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Develop subject matter expertise in business processes, procedures, and applications.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline
Five years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or process design
Hands-on experience with Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, and Python
Proficient in reporting and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Business Objects, or Cognos
Strong command of SQL and understanding of RDBMS systems (e.g., Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle)
Experience with data transformation and wrangling tools and languages such as Alteryx and Python
Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for data visualization and reporting
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Experience with big data tools and languages such as Trifacta, Spark, or Scala
Knowledge of version control tools and processes (e.g., Subversion, Git, Bitbucket)
Prior experience in US Auto Finance industry, including collection strategy, loss forecasting, marketing, or risk management
Familiarity with Chase Auto Finance systems
