Job Responsibilities Collaborate with risk management, product management, and engineering teams to design and deliver high-quality modelling solutions. Develop automated tests, technical documentation, and processes to meet stakeholder requirements. Lead technical design efforts and align solutions with enterprise architecture strategies. Identify, explore, and integrate tools and technologies to advance solution development. Estimate development efforts and ensure timely delivery of technical solutions. Maintain and enhance the quality, scalability, and stability of assigned projects. Serve as a steward of solution integrity, ensuring robust architecture and usability. Work on technologies such as Python, AWS, and NoSQL database solutions. Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders. Uphold organisational values and contribute to a culture of excellence. Experience Required Excellent Python experience required Experience debugging numerical computations and explaining results Experience using AI tools to increase productivity and streamline software development processes Experience in delivering high performing solutions using python, AWS and other modern technologies Experience leading innovation activities and proof of concept exercises A comprehensive knowledge of the technologies used by the team is required An ability to lead technical discussions is required An ability to quickly adopt new technologies and systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills is required Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team is required Experience working in a financial domain Desirable Skills Familiarity with NoSQL databases and scalable cloud systems. Educational Requirements A degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, or Natural Sciences) or equivalent industry experience.
