Senior Reference Data Developer

We are looking for a Senior Reference Data Developer to join a strategic initiative at a leading transnational financial organization. This role demands expertise in Golden Source, Instrument, and Pricing Reference Data, coupled with strong Java technical proficiency and functional understanding. The position involves all aspects of software development, including requirement gathering, data analysis, and troubleshooting.

Experience Level 8+ Years Essential Skills:

• In-depth understanding and extensive experience in building Instrument and Pricing Reference Data Platforms within the context of Large Financial Services organizations.
• Proficiency in Java programming language, with hands-on experience in Golden Source Technology and new implementation.
• Experience of delivering Instrument and Pricing Reference Data solutions within Large Sell Side or Buy Side Organizations.
• Broad knowledge across various Instrument Asset Classes including Fixed Income, Equity, Funds, and Derivatives.
• Past experience of technical leadership role in the development and delivery of Reference Data solutions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success and achieve business objectives.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with other relevant technologies and tools within the financial data management space
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance within the financial industry.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies and business needs.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and practices for software development Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
