Context And MissionThe BSC Computational Earth Sciences Group (CES) is looking for a software developer to consolidate and further develop the existing software environment for Earth data verification. The Data and Diagnostics Team, in which the position is located, has developed over the years a suite of several R packages used by the scientists of the department to perform their analysis and verify the simulations over observations and reanalysis, from sub-seasonal to climate time scales, from the load of the data to the computation of the diagnostics and scores and the visualization.
Key DutiesThe vacancy will remain open until a suitable candidate has been hired. Applications will be regularly reviewed and potential candidates will be contacted.
