SUMMARYDevelopment, implementation, and execution of all robot/cobot programming offline while supporting robot specialist in the implementation of said programs on the production floor ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSInclude, but are not limited to, the following: Responsible for the launch and implementation of software for offline programming of robot and cobot cells MI-North plant Develop processes and work instructions for the programming and cell build operations Set up all robot and cobot cells in the offline programming software system Work collaboratively with robotic specialist’s to “touch up” programming at the cell to dial in program to physical assembly Ensure all models of parts and fixtures needed for programming are received and available for programming Consistently assessing eh best software for Morton Industries offline programming needs Create and maintain programming schedule to track upcoming and current programming demand within collaboratively with the NPI process and leaders Implement cost reduction programs mandated by customers and or management Research and analyze methods required to manufacture product to the customers' requirements and specifications using roboticsCollaborate with fixture design to improve programming and robot cycle times Create programs for new fixtures designed to be run on a robot or cobot cell Review and improve cycle times of current and new parts assigned to robot and cobot cells Identify parts not meeting standard run rates, develop action plan, and execute the action plan to improve the cycle time of the robot operation Knowledge of Database software; Internet software, Inventory software, Manufacturing software, Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
