Ruby Developer

Client: Our client develops software solutions that help print shops, promotional product distributors, and branded merchandise businesses succeed.
Project overview: This position is not for working on any single project but to collaborate in a number of projects.
Technology stack: Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, CSS, PostgreSQL, Git, AWS
- Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using the above mentioned technology
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- 5+ years of experience on full-stack development with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript and CSS
- Experience with feature development and platform integration
- Scalable database modeling and optimization using PostgreSQL- Git-based version control and collaborative code reviews
- Experience with performance tuning and architectural improvements
- Experience with automation testing and deployment to production environments
- Experience with technical support for customer success teams to ensure product reliability
- Nice to have: Experience working on agile environments using frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience working with foreign clients
