Key Responsibilities :
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following established guidelines and utilizing industry-recognized coding practices.
- Participate actively in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, planning, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge to stay ahead.
- Implement new features and improve existing systems using the established technical stack, including AWS and Ruby on Rails.
- Remain up-to-date on new technologies, actively contributing to the evaluation and selection of new tech to enhance our systems.
- Actively participate in improving team processes, providing valuable insights and suggestions both during and outside scheduled retrospectives.
- Engage in the team's organizational processes, such as planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews, to ensure effective collaboration and feedback.
- Utilize automated tests, including unit, integration, and browser-based end-to-end tests, to guide your development process and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Requirements :
- Experience increasing the quality and reliability of systems through good technical practices.
- Experience improving the practices of your team and organization, in technical and process areas
- Experience ensuring non functional requirements are met and maintained.
- A track record of accepting feedback and working to improve.
- Experience giving feedback and mentoring colleagues.
- A desire to learn and grow outside of work through books, podcasts, meetups, conferences, etc..
- Experience in automated testing.
