Job Title: Ruby and Rails Developer
Location: Dallas TX/ Los Gatos, CA /Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Design RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- Work with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code
- Implement front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Vue if required)
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Perform code reviews and unit testing (RSpec, Minitest)
- Deploy applications using AWS, Heroku, Docker
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product)
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Ruby
- Expertise in Ruby on Rails framework
- RESTful API development
- MVC architecture
- ActiveRecord & database design
- Git version control
- Background jobs (Sidekiq, Resque)
- Caching (Redis, Memcached)
- Testing frameworks (RSpec, Capybara)
