We are hiring an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer with a strong fintech background to join our client’s growing engineering team.
You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails. You’ll work on critical fintech systems handling payments, compliance, risk, or core banking functionality.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and optimize robust Rails applications and APIs
- Design and implement scalable backend solutions for financial products
- Integrate with payment gateways, banking systems, and third‑party financial services
- Ensure high security standards, data protection, and regulatory compliance (KYC, AML, PCI‑DSS)
- Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and compliance teams
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
- Proven experience building fintech applications (payments, lending, trading, banking, or crypto)
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, and REST/GraphQL APIs
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Solid understanding of security best practices and fintech regulations
- Experience with React or Vue.js is a strong plus
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
