Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Ruby on Rails Developer position located in Chennai. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails frameworks and associated technologies. The developer will collaborate closely with front-end developers and design teams to ensure seamless integration and provide efficient solutions utilizing object-oriented programming principles. Adherence to best practices such as test-driven development and MVC architecture while working in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development using Ruby on Rails
- Experience in Front-End Development to integrate and support interactive and user-friendly interfaces
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Understanding and expertise in Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role or with SaaS platforms is a plus
