About the Role
As a Ruby Software Engineer , you will work across AI-assisted development environments such as Cursor, Claude Code, and other modern coding platforms to evaluate and enhance Ruby-based codebases. Your responsibilities include reviewing code patches, identifying and debugging issues, validating business logic, and ensuring high-quality, production-ready outputs.
Responsibilities
Validate Ruby/Rails patches, controller/model logic
Debug ActiveRecord queries, callbacks, and MVC flows
Run RSpec tests and interpret errors
Use AI coding agents for repository understanding
Provide structured reasoning for correctness
Skills & Experience Required
2+ years Ruby/Rails experience
Strong understanding of MVC patterns, ActiveRecord, RSpec
Debugging and PR review skills
Experience using AI coding platforms
strong in MVC reasoning & patch evaluation.
