Job Description: Senior Salesforce Developer Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with a strong background in large-scale consulting environments. This is a core development role requiring hands-on coding, technical mentorship, and deep expertise across the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess strong programmatic development skills and a proven track record of building robust, scalable solutions.

Position Details

• Locations: St. Louis, MO / Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)

• Experience Level: 8 to 15 Years

• Interview Process: 2 Internal Rounds + 1-2 Client Rounds (Note: All rounds include live hands-on coding assessments).

Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must meet all the following criteria to be considered:

• Certifications: Minimum of 4+ active SFDC Certifications. Both Platform Developer I (PDI) and Platform Developer II (PDII) are absolute mandates.

• Background: Proven experience working within large consulting firms.

• Coding: Must be highly proficient and comfortable with live coding challenges during interviews.

Technical & Core Responsibilities Programmatic & UI Development

• Develop, modify, enhance, and implement robust software systems designed to support enterprise business initiatives.

• Utilize Apex to execute flow and transaction control statements on Salesforce servers in conjunction with API calls.

• Build advanced single-page applications for desktop and mobile using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and JavaScript UI frameworks.

• Construct custom lightning pages leveraging LWC and manage data efficiently using the Lightning Data Service.

Integration & Data Management

• Architect and implement secure web services using SOAP API, REST API, Bulk API, and Metadata API to seamlessly integrate Salesforce with external enterprise systems.

• Write complex, optimized queries using SOQL and SOSL database languages for field-based and text-based data retrieval.

Testing, Compliance & Mentorship

• Code, test, and debug new software or enhancements, ensuring strict adherence to both business and technical specifications.

• Perform comprehensive unit and integration testing to guarantee efficient execution and high performance.

• Participate actively in code review sessions to validate compliance with development standards, and maintain clear technical documentation.

• Lead and support various engagement phases, review the work of junior team members, and provide expert technical assistance on existing software solutions.
