Job Description

Salesforce Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong Salesforce testing, automation, and
Azure DevOps Test Plans experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both manual and automated testing and have strong problem-solving and ownership skills.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and regression suites for Salesforce applications.
- Create and maintain test plans, test suites, test cases, test configurations, shared steps, execution evidence, and requirements traceability in Azure DevOps Test Plans.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, exploratory, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
- Test Salesforce standard and custom objects, record types, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, validation rules, Flows, Apex, LWC, APIs, and integrations.
- Test Salesforce Clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, CPQ, CLM, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Develop and maintain automated test coverage for Salesforce workflows, APIs, integrations, and regression scenarios.
- Perform REST/SOAP API, integration, data validation, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and retest defects using Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, architects, business analysts, and product owners to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
- Support Salesforce release validation, deployment readiness, regression testing, and production smoke testing.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DevOps processes.
- Maintain test documentation, traceability, test data, and execution evidence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in QA, SDET, Test Engineering, or enterprise application testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans, including Test Plans, Test Suites, Test Cases, Test Configurations, execution evidence, and traceability.
- Strong experience with manual and automated testing.
- Experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, CPQ, CLM, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, or similar Salesforce products.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, validation rules, Flows, Apex, LWC, APIs, and metadata deployments.
- Strong experience with C# and/or Python.
- Experience with Salesforce test automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience with
Salesforce CLI, Git, Gearset, Copado, or similar Salesforce DevOps tools. Preferred - Experience with
CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates. Preferred - Experience with MuleSoft, Workato, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or similar middleware.
- Experience with REST/SOAP API testing and Salesforce integrations.
- Experience testing data movement, upstream/downstream systems, and integration workflows.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, regression testing, and release management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex defects.
