STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a SAP ABAP Developer on behalf of our client in Houston, TX. We are looking for a highly experienced SAP ABAP Developer to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in SAP ABAP development with hands-on experience in SAP Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP). This role requires strong technical capabilities in modern SAP technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Candidates should be comfortable traveling to project sites as required.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Develop and enhance SAP aATP functionalities to support business requirements.
- Build, customize, and optimize ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Develop applications using SAP BTP, RAP, and CAP frameworks.
- Design and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of SAP applications.
- Develop and support integrations between SAP and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable SAP solutions.
- Participate in system testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Ensure development follows SAP best practices and coding standards.
- 12+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP).
- Strong ABAP programming, enhancements, and custom development experience.
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Experience with RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
- Experience with Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
- Experience developing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and SAP integration experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Functional understanding of SAP aATP.
- Experience supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
- Experience working within enterprise SAP transformation programs.
- Willingness to travel 50 75% to Houston, TX and other project locations as needed.
- Candidates located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone..
- Houston-area candidates are highly preferred.
