Position Details

Position title: SAP TDC Intern – Python Developer

Location: Monterrey, Mexico (hybrid position, 3 days per week working from the office)

Expected start date: September 2026


Responsibilities
  • You will work with the TDC Team coding in Python to help automate processes. Mentors in Mexico and the United States will provide guidance. Prior experience coding in Python is required.
  • You will support the training and demo virtual platforms by automating tasks to ensure faster delivery and reduce errors. Both internal customer areas generate revenue for SAP; delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines are important.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Foundational programming skills in Python, gained through coursework, personal projects, or previous internship experience.
  • Familiarity with Python fundamentals, including data structures, clean coding practices, and package management.
  • Basic understanding of software development practices, including version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Exposure to Agile ways of working is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Linux and Windows), networking, databases, and application architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud or virtualization platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, VMware, or similar) is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Curiosity, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a global environment.
  • Comfortable documenting work and sharing knowledge with teammates.
