PrediQT Technologies — Brussels, Belgium.
Full-time position in a deep-tech R&D team developing next-generation high-fidelity flow simulation software for aerospace, propulsion, energy and weather forecasting.
We are looking for exceptional candidates who have already developed or contributed significantly to scale-resolved CFD solver technology and who can operate at the level of numerical methods, software architecture and GPU implementation.
About the Company
PrediQT Technologies develops next-generation high-fidelity, scale-resolved CFD software for industrial applications. Our ambition is to change the simulation paradigm by combining advanced numerical methods, GPU-native performance and, in the longer term, quantum computing capabilities. Our SuRF solver and GenAI-based engineering platform are designed to deliver a new level of accuracy, reliability and engineering productivity for industrial flow simulation.
Industrial demand is shifting toward simulations that can resolve complex unsteady flow physics with higher fidelity, while remaining usable in real engineering workflows. This evolution, together with major advances in numerical methods, GPU computing, quantum computing and GenAI, led to the creation of PrediQT Technologies.
Why joining us:
Join a creative and ambitious deep-tech team working at the frontier of numerical simulation, GPU computing, GenAI and quantum computing. We value scientific excellence, engineering rigor, intellectual honesty and teamwork. PrediQT is headquartered in Brussels, in a green area close to public transport and within easy reach of Paris, Amsterdam and London. The role offers the opportunity to help build a new generation of industrial simulation software from an early stage.
About the Role
This is a full-time role for a senior CFD solver developer or computational scientist. You will join the R&D team developing our next-generation high-fidelity flow simulation software for turbomachinery. You will work directly on scale-resolved CFD numerics, high-order methods, solver architecture, GPU implementation and verification against demanding reference cases.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a strong research and implementation background in CFD solver development. The ideal candidate has a PhD or equivalent research experience, has developed or substantially contributed to scale-resolved CFD codes, and is comfortable moving from numerical formulation to robust, high-performance C++/CUDA implementation.
This role is intended for candidates who have programmed the core numerical engine of CFD codes, not only used CFD packages or extended them through UDFs, scripts or isolated physical models. Relevant experience should include hands-on work on discretization schemes, fluxes, time integration, linear or nonlinear solvers, data structures, parallelization and performance-critical implementation.
Education details
A PhD in computational fluid dynamics, applied mathematics, mechanical or aerospace engineering, scientific computing, or a closely related field is strongly preferred. Exceptional candidates with equivalent research-level experience in CFD solver development may also be considered.
