To keep up, we are looking for a FREELANCE CONTENT WRITER - (YOUTUBE/ VIDEO CONTENT) to work with teams across the company and craft engaging video scripts that wow our customers.
Role Description
The Script Writer role is a remote position responsible for crafting engaging scripts for YouTube videos and other online video content aimed at real estate audiences. Day-to-day tasks include researching topics relevant to Realtors, developing video concepts and narrative structures, and writing clear, persuasive scripts that align with brand voice and marketing goals. The Script Writer will collaborate with content strategists, video producers, and marketing team members to refine messaging, incorporate feedback, and ensure scripts are optimized for viewer engagement and lead generation. The role also involves adapting scripts for different formats, maintaining a consistent content pipeline, and staying current with trends in digital video and real estate marketing.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Scriptwriting and Scripting skills for YouTube and online video content.
- Candidates should possess solid Writing skills, including clarity, tone adaptation, and audience-focused messaging.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with digital marketing or social media, especially YouTube; knowledge of real estate or service-based businesses; strong research and communication skills; ability to work independently in a remote environment; and prior experience in content creation or copywriting.
- Street-smart, camera-friendly, high in ethics, and highly professional when it comes to working with International clients.
- Ability to understand the terminology used in the Real Estate Domain(especially US & Canada Real Estate)
- Master of YouTube storytelling & hooks.
- Can adapt voice for ANY brand/client.
- Understands SEO & audience retention/ engaging scripts for YouTube videos magic.
- Reliable, professional, & meets deadlines (Most important)
Job Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients, engaging in Zoom video calls to understand their needs and deliver the required output.
- Intensive Content Research before writing scripts and hitting the pain point of the client's customers
- Develop Scripts for various videos which would be published on our Clients’ YouTube channel
- Optimize content using SEO best practices
- Ability to modify the content or rewrite the script as per the requirement of the targeted audiences with creativity, discretion, and great flexibility
- Keen insight into all aspects of screenplay tone, genre, style, structure, action, and body language.
- A keen eye for data-driven understanding to curate the scripting process for YouTube
- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
- Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
