Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior SDET with expert-level automation experience to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks. In this role, you will champion QA best practices, integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across engineering teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable automated test frameworks from scratch using Playwright and TypeScript.

• Develop highly reusable automation components using the Page Object Model, fixtures, and custom utilities.

• Drive comprehensive test coverage across both UI and API layers, continually expanding automated regression suites.

• Architect and integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable test execution and reporting.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA peers to define overall test strategies and acceptance criteria.

• Perform rigorous code reviews for automation scripts to maintain high standards of code quality and maintainability.

• Proactively identify, triage, and track defects, providing clear logs and reproduction steps.

• Optimize test stability by reducing flakiness, improving runtime performance, and enhancing debugging capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Mandatory Stack: Advanced hands-on automation experience with Playwright, TypeScript, and UI/API testing.

• Solid mastery of core QA concepts including functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.

• Strong experience with version control (Git) and working within Agile/Scrum teams.

• Deep familiarity with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).

• Proven capability to write clean, maintainable, and production-grade automation code.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Playwright API, REST, Postman, Pact).

• Experience setting up rich test reporting dashboards (Allure, Playwright HTML reporter, JUnit).

• Exposure to cloud environments, containers (Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP), accessibility, or performance testing (k6, JMeter).
