Job Summary
As a Test Lead specializing in selenium and Java, you will be responsible for leading the testing efforts, implementing test automation strategies, and ensuring high-quality software development and delivery using selenium and Java technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the test planning, design, and execution phases for projects involving selenium and java.
- Develop and implement automation scripts using selenium and java to enhance test efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify testing requirements and ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Perform root cause analysis on testing defects and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members in implementing selenium and java testing best practices.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in selenium and java automation testing.
Skill Requirements

- Familiarity with ci/cd pipelines and version control systems.

Certifications: Selenium WebDriver Certification, Java SE Programmer Certification.
- Hands-on experience in API automation using Karate framework

- Strong proficiency in Java with solid OOP concepts

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML validation, and authentication mechanisms
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable frameworks (POM, Hybrid, BDD)
- Integration of automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions)
- Build tools: Maven/Gradle and version control using Git
- Good knowledge of SQL for backend validation
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and mentoring capabilities
