OverviewThis individual will independently plan, perform, and develop modern C++ code for Driver Monitoring algorithms. The role includes monitoring development, testing, customer vehicle integration, and production launch. Because components are ASIL safety rated, this role must apply safety experience and knowledge to ensure code meets safety standards. The engineer will provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers, and work collaboratively to design, implement, verify, and deploy software components. Responsibilities also include driving the software architecture, computationally intensive C++ development, maintaining coding standards, implementing critical software components, and translating technical details to management. Additional duties are analyzing and executing test plans, confirming software behavior matches requirements, investigating new technologies, integrating them into the codebase, ensuring documentation for algorithm design, and contributing to design reviews and project meetings.
QualificationsWill accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics Engineering or related field.
Pay Range$102,190.00 - $150,200.00 per year
