Our 1,300+ strong team serve more than 15,000 families every year at over 60 service units, as well as mainstream kindergartens, primary and secondary schools.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain existing and new IT applications (including but not limited to web, and mobile applications)
- Translate high-level business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable software architecture
- Evaluate and choose the right frameworks, databases, and third-party tools for the project
- Understand automation to streamline development processes
- Explore and integrate Generative AI and modern technologies to enhance user experience and productivity
- Perform comprehensive programming testing (including load tests)
- Identify performance bottlenecks, propose architectural improvements, and ensure security and scalability across the stack
- Design and support data analysis, reporting, and the implementation of business intelligence solutions to meet the needs of users at different organizational levels
- Provide IT applications support for different systems
- Writing and maintaining technical designs, architecture diagrams, and system operations documentation
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and embrace continuous learning
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- A minimum of seven years of solid, hands-on experience in system design and development
- Strong hands-on experience in system development using Python, R, Microsoft .NET Framework (ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET), RESTful APIs, GraphQL, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, and JavaScript (Node.js and React.js)
- Solid experience in the administration, design, performance tuning, and maintenance of databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, and other NoSQL systems
- Experience in online form development, workflow engines, and message gateway technologies is an advantage
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services, Kubernetes, and Docker container platform is a plus
- Skilled in designing RESTful APIs and managing data exchange and integration across heterogeneous systems
- Knowledge of Android and iOS mobile application development and deployment would be an advantage
- Experience with AI technologies (e.g., integrating LLM APIs, development of RAG frameworks, or deploying machine learning models) to address business challenges will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Vibe Coding will be an advantage
- Proactive, with strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking ability, and a willingness to learn and address issues at their root cause
- Knowledge of CRM, HR, ERP, SharePoint, Business Intelligence Tools would be an advantage
- Ability to produce good-quality documentation, including system design documents, business documentation, and project progress tracking
- Good understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience in Jira is a plus
- Good communication skills in both spoken and written Chinese and English
- Positive attitude, strong team player, with a proactive, “can-do” mindset and professional work approach
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Software Engineer position
