Job Summary (List Format):
- Must be local to Los Angeles and/or Orange County and willing to work onsite in a hybrid model
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data warehousing or data engineering roles within mid to large organizations (healthcare industry experience highly preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in ETL/data integration, business intelligence (BI), data mining, and data modeling
- Strong SQL Server and SQL programming background; expertise in T-SQL and MS SQL development
- Experience with SSIS for ETL and data pipelining
- Background in data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration
- Proficient in data architecture, including separation between storage and compute (preferred)
- Experience with data quality, data validation, metadata management, and data governance
- Familiarity with ETL platforms such as Talend (preferred)
- Experience using Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD
- Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile project management environments
- Strong knowledge of 3rd normal form (TNF) data warehouse architecture, data flow best practices, metadata, and master data management
- Ability to coordinate with enterprise data architects and implement best practices
- Highly advanced technical skills and comprehensive IT stack knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to produce high-quality technical documentation
- Self-motivated, able to self-learn, reverse engineer, and support existing processes
- Familiarity with data virtualization concepts/architecture (highly desired)
