Description
We are looking for a Senior Developer with strong Angular and SymphonyCRM expertise to join the offshore CRM and Web Portal development team for the Ranhill ICX platform. This role contributes to the build of core customer relationship management and self-service features that will transform Ranhill SAJ customer experience. The Senior Developer will be responsible for developing reusable, modular Angular components and SuiteCRM customisations, integrating with backend APIs, and ensuring sprint deliverables consistently meet the programme quality and performance standards. This individual will thrive in an offshore Agile delivery environment and is expected to contribute proactively to both delivery and continuous improvement of the team's technical practices.
Responsibilities
- Build reusable Angular UI components, directives, and services for the Customer Web Portal based on design system specifications
- Develop SuiteCRM module customisations including custom fields, subpanels, action hooks, and report configurations
- Integrate frontend components with backend REST APIs, implementing error handling, loading states, and data validation
- Implement role-based access control and authentication flows using OAuth2/JWT at the frontend layer
- Write and maintain unit tests to achieve minimum agreed code coverage targets for sprint deliverables
- Participate in sprint ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, review demonstrations, and retrospectives
- Conduct code reviews for peer developers, providing constructive technical feedback aligned with coding standards
- Debug and resolve defects identified during QA testing and UAT phases within committed resolution timelines
- Contribute to the technical design documentation for Angular components and CRM module customisations
- Work closely with UX designers to faithfully implement UI/UX specifications and ensure accessibility compliance
- Collaborate with the API integration team to validate contract definitions and resolve integration issues
- Support knowledge transfer activities by producing developer guides and onboarding documentation for the Ranhill SAJ IT team
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience with a strong track record in Angular and SuiteCRM/SymphonyCRM development
- Proficiency in Angular (v12+), TypeScript, RxJS, Lazy Loading, and Angular CLI-based project management
- Solid SuiteCRM and/or SymphonyCRM development experience including custom views, logic hooks, scheduled jobs, and PHP customisation
- Strong HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility expertise
- Experience consuming REST APIs and handling JSON/XML data formats in frontend applications
- Familiarity with state management patterns (NgRx or Akita) in large-scale Angular applications
- Proficiency in Git version control with experience in Gitflow branching and code review processes
- Experience with unit testing (Jest or Karma) and integration with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards for web applications
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments with 2-week sprint cadences
- Good written and spoken English communication skills for offshore team collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
