TSR Consulting is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer for an onsite opportunity in Halifax, Montreal, CN
Duration: 6+ Months
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, DevSecOps, and Linux administration. In this role, you'll automate deployments, manage environments, improve software delivery, and help build secure and reliable release processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Git.
- Automate application deployments and infrastructure tasks using Bash, PowerShell, Python, and Node.js.
- Manage deployments across Development, QA, UAT, Production, and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments.
- Implement DevSecOps practices using tools like Snyk for security scanning and policy enforcement.
- Manage Docker containers and application runtime configurations.
- Set up and maintain application monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Securely manage secrets and application configurations.
- Provide Linux administration and operational support to ensure system reliability.
Required Skills:
- Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role.
- Strong experience with GitHub Actions, Git, and CI/CD pipeline design.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker and containerization.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools, preferably Snyk.
- Experience managing releases across Dev, QA, UAT, Production, and DR environments.
- Proficiency in scripting using Bash, PowerShell, Python, and Node.js.
- Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Experience with secrets and configuration management.
- Good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
