For one of our clients active in the railway infrastructure sector, we are looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support the automation, deployment and security of complex real‑time systems used in railway signalling environments.
MissionYou will work within a DevSecOps team focused on automating the software delivery chain while integrating security best practices into development, deployment and production environments.
Main Responsibilities- Implement and document automated software deployment processes.
- Support production installations, updates and patches.
- Monitor vulnerabilities and contribute to security‑related tasks.
- Manage patching for development and production environments.
- Maintain and support development environments.
- Improve CI/CD and DevSecOps processes.
- Provide 2nd line support for software and IT equipment.
- Document technical procedures and keep them up to date.
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in DevOps / CI‑CD environments.
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles and security integration.
- Profound knowledge of Linux (CentOS / RedHat / Fedora).
- Good knowledge of deployment automation tools: Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins or similar.
- Hands‑on experience with automation, scripting and IaC.
- Good knowledge of network technologies: router, switch, VPN, firewall.
- Basic knowledge of VMware ESXi / vCenter or similar.
- Solid understanding of security best practices.
- Nice to have: Python, Perl or Bash scripting.
- Java, C, C++ or similar programming language.
- Nagios, Zabbix.
- Databases.
- Git.
- IntelliJ, Eclipse or VS Code.
- Cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience.
- Master's degree in a technical field or at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps‑related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Languages: English mandatory. French or Dutch mandatory. Understanding of both French and Dutch is an asset.
