Project Goals: The primary goal of this SOW is to provide production problem support, assistance, and knowledge transfer as needed for the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Division of Workers' Compensation AICS application, related interfaces, small enhancements to AICS and provide support for the modernization effort creating/processing extract(s).
Responsibilities:
- Provide production maintenance, operational support, and issue resolution for the Automated Integrated Claims System (AICS) and associated interfaces.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, application defects, and system issues within the AICS environment.
- Design, develop, modify, test, and implement 2E application enhancements and code changes to support business and operational requirements.
- Coordinate development activities with ITSD-DOLIR application development staff and business stakeholders.
- Support and maintain FileBound integrations and other interfacing systems associated with the Workers' Compensation environment.
- Support data exchange processes and interfaces, including EDI, FROI, and other internal and external system integrations.
- Create, process, validate, and maintain extracts required to support the DWC modernization initiative.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring production issues.
- Execute unit testing, system testing, defect remediation, and production validation activities.
- Deploy approved changes to production and coordinate implementation activities with system administrators and State technical teams.
- Utilize State-designated ticketing systems to record, track, update, and resolve assigned tasks, defects, and enhancement requests.
- Maintain daily status updates, including estimated effort, actual effort, remaining effort, issue status, and implementation details.
- Document problem reports, technical changes, issue resolutions, testing results, and supporting technical documentation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly status reports detailing completed work, issue resolution activities, risks, and project progress.
- Support legacy IBM iSeries/AS400 applications and ensure system stability, reliability, and operational continuity.
- Provide technical support, knowledge transfer, and assistance to State personnel throughout application maintenance and modernization activities.
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of support, maintenance, and enhancement activities.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with senior-level development
- 5+ years of experience with 2E development
- 3+ years of experience interfacing with content management solution, Filebound.
- 4+ years of experience maintaining support of the State of Missouri's Workers' Compensation system or a Workers' Compensation system comparable to Missouri's system.
- Experience with Missouri's Workers' Compensation system preferred.
