About the role
As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will make an impact by working collaboratively with the respective teams to design implement and deploy web solutions for J&J internal usage. You will be a valued member of the Development team and work collaboratively with multicultural team.
In this role, you will :
- Develop and Maintain Scalable Web Applications :
- Build internal web solutions using React , Next.js , and TypeScript .
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.
- Integrate and Manage APIs :
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and Next.js API routes.
- Integrate external services and internal systems securely and efficiently.
- Deploy and Monitor Applications on AWS :
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated testing and deployment.
- Collaborate in a Git-Based Development Environment :
- Work in a collaborative Git workflow , managing branches, pull requests, and merges.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams in English .
Work model :Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring X days a week in a client or Cognizant office in city, state. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

What you need to have to be considered
- Advanced English
- Bachelor’s degree
- React and Next.js
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend tooling
- Background with Tailwind CSS development
- Understanding of API integration using Next.js API routes or external services
- Ability to work with Git in a collaborative environment
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines particularly using Jenkins
These will help you stand out
- Background with Langflow or other visual workflow tools
- Knowledge of Azure OpenAI or other LLM-based APIs
- Understanding of prompt engineering
- Knowledge with serverless frameworks (e.g. AWS Lambda)
- Expertise in Node.js for RESTful API development
- Strong communication skills
- A proven ability to perform as a team player
