Senior Data Engineer

What you will be doing:
This role serves as the technical owner of the enterprise data platform and business intelligence environment. The successful candidate will design, build, and support Azure SQL databases, data integrations, ETL/ELT pipelines, and enterprise Power BI solutions while partnering with business leaders to deliver trusted, actionable information. The position combines database development, data engineering, data modeling, and Power BI leadership, including prioritizing reporting requests, governing enterprise datasets, and supporting day-to-day reporting needs.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years SQL Server database development.
- 3+ years of Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory.
- 3+ years with Power BI.
- Strong T-SQL, DAX, Power Query (M), and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with Azure Functions and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Hands-on experience of Python programming.
- Experience supporting production database environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
