Senior Java Developer
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications in a collaborative Agile environment. You will work closely with stakeholders, lead the development of key components, mentor team members, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Design and develop scalable Java applications following best practices.
- Lead the development of critical application components.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.
- Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing.
- Document technical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and DevOps practices.
Required Skills:
- 8–10 years of Java development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java, PostgreSQL, and complex information systems.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in French or Dutch, with excellent English.
Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)
Start Date: 14 August 2026
Contract Duration: 1 month (extendable if applicable)
