The Role
Are you a passionate software engineer with 8+ years of experience Do you enjoy building impactful solutions using the latest technologies EG Healthcare is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our growing team in Mangalore, India, and help shape the future of digital healthcare in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop robust, scalable software solutions using Java and related technologies
Build and maintain RESTful APIs for integration across systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features
Ensure code quality through best practices, automated testing, and peer reviews
Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for modern DevOps workflows
Troubleshoot issues and deliver timely solutions
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements
Must-Have Skills
Java (8+ years of professional experience)
Spring Boot for backend service development
REST API design and implementation
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Exposure to Event Sourcing / CQRS patterns
Hands-on experience with any front-end technology – preferably React.js
Strong understanding of relational databases, Git, and testing practices
Good-to-Have Skills
ElasticSearch for advanced search and indexing
Axon Framework for distributed systems (Java)
Grafana or similar tools for observability
Experience with ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments
Full-stack mindset or experience collaborating with front-end teams
