SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance server-side applications within a global electronic trading environment. You will contribute to the evolution of critical order management and market connectivity solutions, delivering scalable, reliable, and high-quality software while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and support teams. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building robust systems with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and innovation.
What You Will Do on a Daily Basis
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Credit eTrading order management and market connectivity layers.
- Ensure the platform is developed and maintained to the highest standards of quality, security, and performance.
- Produce clean, high performance, scalable and testable applications, while demonstrating a great sense of design and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the production support team for release and maintenance of the components.
- Work directly with traders and perform L3 support when needed.
Your Key Skills
- Strong expertise in Java 17+ development, particularly server-side applications.
- Ability to design and deliver clean, scalable, testable, and high-performance solutions.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in migration and refactoring initiatives of existing platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Your Main Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
- University degree in a quantitative field.
- Solid experience in Java development, with mastery of Java 17 or later versions.
- Experience working within front-office environments is highly valued.
- Knowledge of electronic trading systems is considered a strong advantage.
- Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
