We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join an international banking project and contribute to the development of high-performance distributed systems within a global Risk Management environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Java applications
- Contribute to the evolution of distributed systems responsible for risk calculation and analysis
- Collaborate with business, regulatory, and technical teams to translate requirements into robust solutions
- Develop software following best practices in security, scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Participate in software architecture and design discussions
- Review code and promote engineering excellence across the team
- Optimize existing applications and improve system reliability
- Implement and maintain automated testing strategies
- Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines
- Support software deployment, releases, and technical documentation
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams in a large-scale international environment
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience with Java development
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Framework, REST APIs, and Multithreading
- Solid understanding of Software Engineering principles and Computer Science fundamentals
- Experience with Distributed Systems and event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of technologies such as Kafka, Cassandra, Tomcat, Oracle Coherence, or similar
- Experience with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Acceptance Testing
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and related tools
- Experience developing scalable and high-throughput applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Fluent English
