A leading financial services and capital markets organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong enterprise application development expertise to design, build, and support high-performance, mission-critical systems that enable strategic business operations.
Responsibilities Develop and support business‑critical applications aligned to IT and business strategy Translate business requirements into technical solutions through impact and system analysis Design and develop scalable applications using Java and modern frameworks Conduct code reviews ensuring quality, security, performance, and maintainability Perform unit testing and ensure solutions meet functional requirements Support deployment, release management, and production implementation activities Assist with UAT support and resolution of defects and system issues Ensure production stability, including DR readiness and system health checks Produce technical documentation to support system maintenance and knowledge transfer Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of solutions Requirements Degree in Information Technology or related field 5-7 years experience in enterprise software development Strong proficiency in Java (8+), Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data Experience with SQL, Postgre SQL, and SAS programming Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and software design patterns Experience with AWS cloud services and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions) and Agile delivery methodologies Benefits Salary: negotiable #J-18808-Ljbffr
