We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Developer to join our collaborative team within a prominent Wealth Management firm.
Responsibilities
- Construct resilient backend microservices and REST APIs
- Execute unit testing to ensure functionality and reliability
- Implement thorough code reviews to uphold high-quality standards
- Comply with industry coding practices, including continuous integration
- Participate in SCRUM ceremonies to support streamlined project execution
- Engage in estimation and planning to define development timelines and processes
- Mentor team members and foster a collaborative team environment
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Java development
- Proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot
- Familiarity with modern development practices, version control, and automated testing (JUnit)
- Proficiency in designing and implementing APIs for scalable systems
- Strong background in SQL, including database design and query optimization
- B2 level of English or higher, with an emphasis on technical communication skills
Nice to have
- Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management
- Understanding of Spring Batch for batch processing workflows
- Familiarity with Java Microservice Infrastructure and Microservice Architecture Pattern
- Knowledge of MongoDB for handling NoSQL database solutions
