Job Description

You will join a development team that builds in‑house applications and integrates vendor products for our US Regulatory Reporting business in Finance IT. You will lead the technical and architectural design to create scalable technology solutions that power growth, improve client experience, and make our reporting and support teams more efficient. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, AI/ML frameworks, and MCP server implementation will enhance automation, data analysis, and intelligent reporting capabilities. What will you do?

  • Hands‑on application design, coding, and deployment in cloud‑based environments.
  • Design and implement big data processing and AI‑agentic solutions to optimize regulatory reporting workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Liaise with business partners to deliver solutions based on clients’ needs, translating business requirements into AI‑driven technical approaches.
  • Provide technical influence by sharing deep knowledge and experience in emerging AI technologies.
  • Maintain code quality, best practices, and responsible AI governance across the stack.
  • Support and maintain the team’s application suites on various technical infrastructures and architectures.
  • Help increase adoption of emerging technology within your area of expertise.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 5+ years of experience in programming, large‑scale applications, frontend and backend engineering, test‑driven development, microservices, and architectural design.
  • Hands‑on experience with AI and LLM frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Claude).
  • Hands‑on experience with MCP server implementation.
  • Strong team‑leadership, written and oral communication skills, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages/frameworks such as Java, Spring, Scala, Spark, JavaScript, UI frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js), Python, HTML5/CSS, SQL.
  • Experience with microservices in cloud environments such as OpenShift and Azure.
  • Experience with data lake and database engines such as HDFS, Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
  • Mentor on standards and coding practices and debug complex or urgent problems; maximize reuse and build sustainable applications.

Nice to have

  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau.
  • Experience with middleware technologies such as Kafka and Redis.
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines and cloud tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, HashiCorp Vault, Apigee, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Nexus IQ, SonarQube, UCD, Artifactory.
